The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and I immediately noticed how clean and well-maintained the restaurant was—something that always makes a great first impression. The sushi was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a delight, from the perfectly seasoned nigiri to the creative rolls that were clearly made with care and attention to detail. What really stood out to me was the balance of quality and value. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the level of freshness and taste. It’s clear that the owner and staff take pride in what they do, and it shows in every aspect of the dining experience. If you’re in Morgan Hill and craving sushi, Hanami Sushi is a must-visit. The combination of a being welcomed, a spotless environment, and delicious, fresh food makes this place a standout. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending it to friends and family.

I’ve been here twice and the food has been phenomenal each time. As someone who doesn’t eat seafood I think their veggie rolls are great, the salted plum and cucumber roll is so unique and fun. Everyone that eats seafood that I’ve gone with loved their rolls too. Everything tastes high quality and fresh. Service is good too! Knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating with my toddler as well. Prices are fair for the quality and portions!

Update 8/27/2022: Vegetarian Yakisoba Noodles fantastic. California Roll fantastic. Tempura, Gyoza, Chicken Katsu fantastic.

I tried the Spicy Josh because it was highly recommended in a previous Yelp review by Lex. I also tried the Crazy roll and the Green Beast roll. Lex was spot on for recommending the Spicy Josh roll, it was delicious! The Green Beast roll is also a highly recommendable roll. The only roll I wasn’t too crazy about was the Crazy roll. After having the Spicy Josh roll and Green Beast roll, the Crazy roll just didn’t feel like it had enough kick to it. If I would have eaten all of the Crazy roll before I tried the other two rolls I probably would have been more crazy about it. The problem is that I kept interchanging between all the rolls. Every time I took a bite of the Crazy roll I kept thinking about the other two rolls. Anyways, I would highly recommend the Spicy Josh roll and Green Beast roll. I would lowly recommend the Crazy roll, especially if you’re going to get it with the other two rolls.

The sushi here is 5/5. It's a cute restaurant. The staff is nice. This restaurant seems to have one waitress working during busy times which means that you drink refills are slow among other things. My family is a mix of sushi eaters and non-sushi eaters. They have options that those non-sushi lovers will like a lot.

I found Hanami Sushi on Google Maps after I had dropped my car off over at the nearby Ford Store for regular maintenance. I walked over at around 11:15 a.m., easily sat down & was waited on immediately. I ordered the yam sushi roll and the chicken teriyaki lunch special -- and everything was absolutely amazing🤩😍🥰. I will definitely go back!
